Getting in some "training" for our plan to do the Wicklow Way in a few weeks time. Getting in some inclines and testing out things like, the trail runner/waterproof socks combo. Which, I think is a winner. I have two pairs of Bridgedale Storm Socks on the way, although I might also test out some cheap ones of Shein. Stay tuned for some reviews.
Anyway, beside all that, it was great to get into that upper section of Colin Glen again, and to get to the top of where the waterfall flows over the edge, a spot I had never been to. I believe that is actually the waterfall itself that is referred to as the Rumble Hole, which I thought previously, had referred to the reclaimed quarry.
