City tour of peace bridge, murals and other sights the journey starts in Belfast Laynon Place and we end in Derry Waterside train station.I also highlight the train seating and luggage storage and the free bus to Derry city centre for rail passengers.
Adult single one way costs £14.00 but I bought a I-link card which entitles you to free bus and rail travel around Northern Ireland and cost £18.50 this us great for example if you wish to get of the train at (Antrim) For the Giants causeway you can use the I-link card for the bus service to the causeway and return to the train and travel anywhere that day without further payment.The stops along the way on today's train are
(1) Yorkgate
(2) Mossely West
(3) Antrim} Giants Causeway stop
(4) Ballymena
(5) Cullybackey
(6) Ballymoney
(7) Coleraine
(8) Castlerock
(9) Bellarena
(10) Derry waterside station

I like sitting on the right of the train from Coleraine to Castlerock and then the left after Castlerock because I prefer looking at the hills rather than the sea, nice and all it looks.

Hi and thank you 👍 I would recommend a visit to Antrim, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle and the giants causeway is a pretty great adventure.Of course if your going to be in Belfast, near the end of October there is a great halloween festival in Derry.Hope this helps and have a great trip and I guarantee you will enjoy this train journey 👍Ps Also sit on the side of the carriage near the platform at Belfast, Laynon place to get the best costal view after Coleraine, if unsure ask the conductor 👍

Interesting little travelogue on the Belfast to Derry/Londonderry line. From the scenic PoV it promoted the landscape quite well, but the AI texting was abominable, as most AI is, whowever uses it! It was quite funny to see the text read "Dirty City" in place of "Derry City" along with a few other little faux pa's! Was the video spoilt? Yes!; simply because Irishmen - particularly those who have a National/Republican bias - can't resist taking a swipe at British troops and bringing in anti-British sentiment and Bloody Sunday, which is a great shame and does nothing to promote peace and harmony. Your hoping that the "Peace Flame will continue forever" really contradicts the sentiment of the previous segment. If I was to be really picky, I'd say that your grammar isn't up to the mark, and remind you that Derry is a Cathedral city, not a town (as in your final text), and there are two River Bann's, not one! Perhaps your Geography isn't as well studied as your history!

Thank you, it was kind of you to re[ly; and I'm glad you took my criticisms as they were intended. Yes, the pictures speak well for themselves, and any descriptive narrative is also helpful to a visitor. As it happens, I know Northern Ireland very well - and in some cases even better than the locals (but don't tell them that)! I also remember some of the old railways that have now long gone - but more to the point I know the people from all sides of the community - I've lived and worked with both, and never got involved in any discussions about police, army, Catholic, Protestant, Loyalist, Nationalist, IRA, UVF, and as a resuilt I mixed well with the majority of the citizens. My suggestion for travelogues such as yours, is to cut out all references to politics, religion, cultural divides in a country that has had more than enough of such divisions. Most visitors may or may not be interested in such things, but it should be left up to them to find out for themselves. Personally, I don't care about anyone's politics or religion and certainly never want to discuss it; and as an Irishman, you would be more aware than any visitor that a wrong word can do a lot of damage, especially if you show favour to one side or another. Everyone can enjoy beautiful scenery, but not everyone is interested in local politicking, so continue with your videos and show the countryside and the people as they would prefer to be seen. It's a lovely country, and mostly a lovely people. Best wishes.

Hi yes there are buses going from the airport to the city centre the operator is trans link don't know the number bus but as it is a small airport it should be very easy find the stop.Also the distance to the city centre is only 7 miles so a taxi would also not be very expensive Enjoy your time in the magic city of Derry 👍@@ExpatLifeKorea
