They didn't view tamils as humans. All tamils were looked at as Tigers. Sinhala government committed genocide against tamils and wiped out hundreds of thousands of innocent ones including women and children. It's easy for you to say "don't talk about politics " because you were not the one on the receiving end. I was and my family and frieds were. You will never understand what tamils went through.
