Thanks buddy. The actual length of the power strip is wrongly mentioned online. Here in this video I can see it's about 36 CM. This is what I needed to know. Thanks. One drawback of this strip I noticed is that it does not have any safety shutter in the holes despite of being the most expensive model amonst various surge protectors.

It does have a safety shutter (it’s not of the conventional type, so it may not be very clearly visible) but only for power and neutral and not for earth terminal. This kind of design allow us to easily use it for appliances having only two pins.

@@ExploringJoy Yes, my mistake, noticed it after doing more research, it's somewhat "underneath" the opening and so wasn't visible in pictures easily and in the specifications also it's not mentioned online 😀 .. Some are saying online that the plug points are not adequately tight and so havier adaptors tend to topple. Is that true ?

For 2 pin heavy adapter I would say it’s not the best in terms of its firmness of holding it but it does the job. For 3 pin adapter the grip is fine. So the choice depends on how you plan to use it and how much significant the factor of firmness of the grip is for your use case.

@@justanotherreviewbyme Right. Just confused between Honeywell and Belkin as both have similar models. But don't know which one has more firm grip for heavy 2 pin adapters.

Nice. But how it protects from surge? What's special inside?

It has a voltage dependent resistor (MOV) connected between power and earth line, so when the voltage increases, the resistance of the MOV decreases and the power line surge is kind of shorted to the ground. Maybe someday I will open it and verify all the components and its connectivity.
