Bell 206 Jetranger Start up during ground test

12 жыл бұрынA multi camera shoot of the start up sequence of the bell 206. The techs are doing a vibration test on the tail rotor as part of schedule maintenance. Filmed using gopros, extreme cams and panasonic p2.

I love the sounds of the Jet Ranger. The Huey is my favorite but the Jet Ranger is a VERY close second.

Yes and no. There are actually 2 start ups in the one video. Most of it is from the cold start. The shots from the students POV were from the second hot start so the close ups of the guages are from the hot start....Well spotted

Not a hot start at all. The temp peaked at maybe 850*C for maybe 2 seconds.You're allowed 10 seconds above 810*C or 1 second above 927 before it's considered a hot start.
