Thank you, very well explained. If you get a bilateral facial nerve palsy (it happens!), you'll be thinking about Guillain Barre syndrome, sarcoidosis and Melkersson-Rokenthal syndrome.

I found as an ER Dr the easiest way to Dx Bells Palsy when findings were VERY subtle and forehead not affected (yet) that the most reliable way was to watch the eyes blink. the affected eye does NOT fully close with blinking = Bells.

@@mamunurrashid3141 it is little confusing and wrong diagram 2 and 4 are upper motor neuron lesions so both eyebrows should be up and 2nd is left side UMNL , because UMNL is always contralateral so here both eyebrows should be up and not able to smile on right side

Your question is quite intrigue, since the ipsilateral innervations are affected due to the both sides involvement, then yes it will mimic LMNL
