Put a little permanent marker around the blade edge then sharpen it again. This will show exactly where it is touching and sharpening on the bell knife. It may be the angle you are looking or it may not be lining up correctly and require adjustment. If the permanent marker is removed consistently and completely then you may not have any problem.

There's an adjustment bolt for changing the angle of the grinding wheel.

I'm certainty no expert, but maybe the grinding wheel is worn a bit ? Can you take out the grinding wheel and flip it and put it back in ?

I am NO expert but mine is also at an angle. It is so it will grind wheel can hit the blade at a slight angle to sharpen it. It kinda bevels one side if that makes sense. You can move the grinding wheel up as you need to to tighten the grinding wheel to the blade only as needed.
