I believe it was her motherly/new vampire instincts to be furious at him even though he had explained the imprinting thing in Eclipse. Also I don't think anybody would have expected the imprinting to happen when the person who is imprinted on is an infant.

She pretty much says that in the books. All see wanted since she woke up was the hold her daughter to finally do that to find out that the guy that threatened to kill himself because he couldn’t be with her “ fell for her daughter she just lost it and realized how over the top she was. (Even tho I think she was mild compared to how I would have been)

I was really disappointed in this movie in that they aged Nessie much quicker then in the book. She was played by a 10-year-old actress (why?) and clearly the size of a ten or 11-year-old when at the end of the book she was the size of a 3 or 4-year-old. The movie made her childhood much shorter then it already was going to be. Please, Nessie hardly talk or did much of anything in the movie. The role could've easily been played by a 4 or 5-year-old. Why a ten and a half year old actress? Makes no since to me.
