I think part of it is a cultural nostalgia for when we had teen romance movie series and not just superhero films. We really haven’t had anything similar to twilight since it ended and that’s so sad. It’s not that it’s old, but over a decade of film without anything recent that compares is enough to make us go back and reminisce the vibe we miss

I love Twilight sm man. I know it's kinda terrible plot wise, and questionable morally, but the nostalgia and era this came from just really makes me love it. I miss the early 2000's and 2010's. Even though I was really young then. I wish I was a teen during that time, so I could experience the full extent of the booming scenecore and emo fashion trends, see the movies that were popular that time... Not to mention the fact that Paramore made songs for this movie, makes it all the more nostalgic man !! All this nostalgia just brings me so much comfort and it's really helping me cope rn, especially with things going on at home. Currently indulging and obsessing over Twilight as a real teen now, and i love it. Just bought the books and rewatched the saga. I have had a huge crush on both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ever since i was like 6, 10 years later, it's still the same, if not worse..! Thank you for this, absolutely loved the playlist !!

thank you for sharing this! I agree, one can say anything about the books and the movies, but Stephenie managed to create such a special atmosphere that is going strong years later. I've re-read the saga in several languages, luckily it dropped right in the middle of my teen years, and I would give a lot to be able to bring these experiences back. The books have all the nostalgia, the comfort, the good kind of naivety. I can only assume where are you from, I send you all the light and positivity! In these hard times, we can only be grateful for things that bring us joy and a way to escape

That’s exactly how I feel! I was like 5 when the first movie came out and I was able to truly appreciate all the saga only after it was finished, during my teens. I really wish I would’ve been a teenager in the 2000s to fully experience that era=) It’s nice to know that there’s someone out there who feels the same way!

i really wish that twilight would’ve stuck with the indie approach to the movies. say what you want about the writing and story, but you cant deny the fact that twilight and new moon were cinematically amazing. the shots and aesthetics were so on point and i miss that era so much.

I used to be in my Twilight Saga era... Apparently my experience was ruined by how social media and anti-twilighters depicted the Twilight fandom by making distasteful memes that not only targets the fandom, but also the actors/actresses as well (poor Kristen Stewart really doesn't deserve the hate she gets). I understand that the books and the movies are problematic, but the fandom (in my perspective) is surprisingly sweet, if not, crazy (in a good way) yet unforgettable. I used to listen to the movie soundtracks and read the books when I was 14. I even found a friend who happened to share the same love for Twilight as I was. Growing up, I'd never understand why people would make fun of you for your interests even when it is not hurting others in the process. I am now 21 years old. I may have outgrown my Twilight era, but it's a little something that I will forever treasure...

I agree with you. Kristen Stewart does not deserve all that hate from these movies or how people view her as an actress just because of these movies. She played the role of Bella Swan perfectly. I've read the books multiple times when they came out in my 30's. Bella as sweet as she was, was a bit of a bore or softened quiet girl. I say that in the nicest way not as an insult. That was the role and Kristen played it to how it was written. It does not mean she is like this in all her roles. I haven't seen all of her movies, but I have seen a few non Twilight ones and she is different in them.

Lol I'm 23 and the nostalgia of these movies is still with me! There's a certain vibe to forks and that the movie portrays too. There's something about an older town that looks beautiful in fall, all the greenery, the plants, the moss, the dark colors of the woods with the vibrant green of the plants...

they make fun of you because they are miserable themselves. no happy person wants to drag another down. i loved the color palette of the first movie and landscapes and mysterious newness in the first movie especially. i revisit the movies every few years. these inspired playlists are mystical and seductive. i never understood the point of pointing things out that are 'problematic'. people are messy. life is problematic. art imitates life.

I'm an adult now and I still love twilight even though the relationship between Bella and Edward doesn't align with my definition of love. There's many problem with the book and movie but I still enjoy the nature, cinematography, the cozy vibes especially new moon and the first movies are my fav ( Basically it's my guilty pleasure movie ). I'm also planning to get a job soon to live alone in a more greenery place which will made me feel closer to twilight♡ Thank you so much for this Playlist💗

It really does make you feel like your reading the books on a rainy day. The nostalgia is REAL. I miss the 2000s sometimes. I really miss them. The good, the bad, the cringey, and the memorable. This is memorable. Like Harry Potter.

'Cause that's the thing about twilight, no matter how bad it looks for the first timers who just watched it recently, it was release literally perfect for the vibe that time. The nostalgia of being 14 or 15 or no matter how young you where, gushing over this franchise was one of the best memories i've had to be honest as a teen. It does kinda makes no sense now or they say it's cringy and stuff. I think they delivered every f*cking bit of the character so well and perfect, and no one can convince me "no" otherwise. I just rewatched it again and i was literally saying the script with them😂 i just bought the books and i don't think i'll move on from this forever. Twilight will always have the deepest special place in my heart as a teen and now as i'm feeling old, OH MY GOSH🤧!?!

I am 26 years old and found the Twilight Saga on Tubi last week. Since then I just been highly obsessed and my daughter LOVES watching Twilight with me ❤❤ I was 15 when the first Twilight came out so I never understood then what I understand now. Twilight has always had a special place in my heart. Brought me tears and sadness during a couple of the movies. Cuz I understand now why Bella fell in love with Edward. It was to show us we can still love and accept those who aren't this "picture perfect" aspect. Wanted to share my opinions and thoughts. Although this story isn't real there are some aspects which makes it that much more special and helps us all relate to it. Looking though the eyes of a teenager again, looking at life with a new perspective, In the end the innocence of relationships and the love we create is what we find the most beautiful. Wow. With the song at 25:28 you really transported me inside the twilight vibe. The melancholy mixed with some upbeat tones, the haunting voice that lets you dive deep into thoughts, the sound effects that seems like the Cullens are playing baseball in the distance..and it was raining outside my window. Like girl i almost started seeing everything in the seemingly cold but at the same time familiar, nostalgic and therefore "warm" twilight blue-ish tone. Thank you as always🤧❤

I still remember putting on my headset through my Nokia phone in my way to school in the bus listening to this in cold mornings, twilight nostalgia is carried with me everywhere, even thought so many things have changed that would steal precious moments of feeling what's in the moment without distractions is sad, I got away with it really, still I go through times where I am not on instagram and just love to sit watching this series and I waiting for winter season to come back just so I could feel this comfort, like feeling and not doing so much. embracing my journey in life, where this world is gonna take me further?

кто бы что ни говорил - это отличный фильм. он даёт особенный вайб. я его чувствую и получаю ужасное удовольствие. а этот плейлист идеален. действительно идеален.
