There's no way she's really Cuban. Her facial structure, skin tone, complexion, and hair, before being dyed, indicate she has Scott/Irish lineage. And speaking as someone who used to live in Cuba, Cubans hate spicy food. Considering that she's still a teenager, she's probably a poser. Like the high school kids who try to be "ghetto".

The Bread Man If she identifies with her family's Cuban culture then so be it. I've known Latinos who were light skin and had blonde or red hair (even with freckles) who identify with their culture more than I do. And I actually have the stereotypical brown skin, black hair and brown eyes that many seem to think all Latinos posses. There are even Latinos with skin as dark as Africans and even the afro hair. But again, if she really connects with her Cuban identity, then let her do her thing. Her family even gave her a quinceanera. I think it's great.
