Yes, I am a Bellamy/Clarke shipper (what can I say, I got fooled). However, realistically, after they didn't get together in season 6, I knew that it wasn't going to happen (not properly anyway, as them being rushed together in the last few episodes wouldn't have been better). But I expected their relationship to mean more in the end. This whole show was always about them more than anyone else. This may be an unpopular opinion but to me Bellamy Blake was more of a true 'protector' than anyone else. His intentions always focused on saving people and protecting the ones he loved than to win wars and save the world. Did he make mistakes, yes, and plenty, but his intentions had always been pure. Bellamy Blake to me has always been Clarke Griffin's humanity. Her love for Fin made Clarke reckless. Her love for Lexa made her stronger yes, but also colder and even cruel. But Bellamy, with his protective nature and words of encouragement and care kept her from going over the edge. Bellamy Blake deserved so much better.

i just don't understand how they went through all THAT and she still decided to shoot him (or, rather Jroth decided that he needed to die because lets be real, we all know who was behind this). anyway, this heartbreaking and beautiful.

How many times has he saved her! Never ones has he threatened her or pointed a gun at her. Yet she pointed a gun at him on multiple occasions but never to shoot, just to threaten. Yet the writer of this show decided that she should go through with it now?!? After everything that they've been through. In the end, Bellamy is the only one who always went out on a limb to save everyone, take the blame on himself to make it easier on her, and most of all save Clarke. Bellamy is the one that was supposed to get the happy ending!!!

I like to believe the series ended at season 6 for this reason

This last season was an earthquake on character development specially for clarke and bellamy...and don't even come to me saying that the 100 is about survival and difficult decisions... that's not an excuse

This is AMAZING! usually I don’t comment on stuff like this but seriously this is so fantastic I am in love with it. It makes me a little less sad. This was the laziest and most shit writing i’ve maybe EVER seen. So disappointed they ended Bellamy’s character and ark like that but big F to Jason Roth for it. We all know Bell was destined for more and Clarke would NEVER. She would find a way to bring him or ANYTHING else. Thank you for creating beauty out of a horribly written situation and making a happy moment even if it was just television(a saying I agree with but can’t always get behind because I’m so emotionally invested). This is truly amazing and shows why it shouldn’t have happened. It’s BS the way this sh*t played out. Thank you for bringing a memorial light to it

The writing took a "they are meant for each other" couple and turned them into "She doesn't deserve him". Bellamy has time and time again put Clarke first and even time when she thought he was betraying her turned out to be him trying to save her. All Clarke had to do was return the favor and blindly trust Bellamy for once. And she couldn't do that. Which was so weird and crazy especially when you considering their history. The painful part of all this is, it wasn't a creative choice to explore Clarke's character and her lack of trust in others, they simply did it because they didn't want the two characters together.

Hard to believe the writers were satisfied with their lifeless attempt at wrapping up the show. Bellamy shouldn't of died like that to say the least, not to mention the characters never would of been okay giving their lifes to alien life forms seeking knowledge. You wanna know what I think is awesome, Bellamy and Clarke didnt Actually genuinely have an open romantic relationship so they didnt actually do that many romantic scenes yet bob and eliza still fell in love. They fell in love on there own, the show didnt provide that. Let's thank jason for making them meet.

I'm a bit lost when I see everyone being so disappointed by Bellamy's death now that the show is over. I was in total shock when Clarke shot him but let's think for a second. Catogan DESTROYED Madi's brain to get what he wanted. And Clarke killed him for that. And even after being denied transcendance and being left all alone on earth because of that, she doesn't regret her decision. Not even a little bit. Now try to imagine what would have happened if Bellamy was still alive. He would've helped Catogan to get to Madi, he would've watched him killing her slowly and Clarke would have NEVER forgiven him. This is not something anyone can apologise for. So yes, he was right and all of that but the end rarely justifies the means, and I can't really imagine Bellamy living forever knowing that Clarke hates him for what he did, and I don't imagine him either joining her on earth with the others without her fighting him at some point. She would've hold grudges against him for the rest of their lives and the ending would've been much less peaceful. With Bellamy dead, they can just grieve and remember him as he truly was before being brainwashed (as Octavia said: the Bellamy who would've done anything to protect his baby sister instead of THROWING HER BACK IN THE BARDO PRISONS). His death broke my heart but I really think it's better like that for everyone Side note : it's not the first time Bellamy gets indoctrinated in a violent group who kills innocent people because they think what they're doing is right. Hell yeah, Pike is no different from Cadogan (except that Cadogan was "right" after all) and Bellamy should've learned from his mistakes instead of diving back into trouble just because he managed to climb a mountain like come on HOW can that trigger a spiritual awakening he literally narrowly escaped two radioactive waves and lived in space for so many years in terrible conditions like HOW climbing a mountain can be more spiritually revealing than everything he's been through his whole life ? Okay he saw his mother and all that but turns out the dead don't transcend so where was she coming from anyway ? He saw what he wanted to see and chose to believe and join a cult with which there clearly was something wrong because he was done suffering oh crap doesn't that ring a bell ? Yay Cadogan's cult is just a weird mix between Pike and ALIE. Bellamy should've felt that and remembered that joining a group promising to end all your pain and save everyone and blablabla is never a good idea

Damn this is beautiful, but I had to stop watching due to the s7 clips. Such a waste (the show's decision, I mean).
