2001 was a big event for the Bellarine Railway, with 7 locos running 5 steam and 2 diesels there was plenty of action to see. First time triple heading of ex QR PB15 454 with ex TGR M 6 and ex WAGR V 1209. this combination was not usually possible as the PB15 is Air Braked and the M and V class are Vacuum braked. A brake stand and train pipe connection was set up in the PB15s cab so the driver had control of the whole train.
We also see M6 and V1209 on some Drysdale trips.
