The sounds embrace me, I feel, everything washes over me, I float on.

What a sensitive musician. Love, regret, pain, and solitude right through. But she makes clear by the tone of her last song that there's still love at the end, that she will still forgive. Even her words "Maybe it's the weather, but I've got nothing in my heart" sounds like a playful phrase when enlivened by the forward-looking music with a message to move on in life with love and joy.

this artist needs wayyy more recognition her music is truly amazing, its soothing, relaxing, melancholic, dreamy, i love gothic folk type music

listening to 6 music last night i came across one of her tracks what a stunning voice

For me, as a new fan of MN, she is a beautiful mix between Lana del Rey and Sharon van Etten with here and there a pinch of Kate Bush and First Aid Kit. But I think for me, she will very soon just be Marissa, in her own style and ambiance.

funny how her voice sounds like lana del rey voice. I wonder all the time if maybe lana did a secret album. however, I must admit that this album is much more studied from the song´s structure point of view. I wish there would be few faster melodies now and then because so many slow pieces make it a bit too monotonous
