Really cute style. I like that it's heat friendly so I can throw some wire mesh rollers in it and steam more curl into it. Nice!

I love caps with silicone ear tabs! They are so much more comfortable and light. I just got jon renau Cameron Lite and I don't even know she's on my head because of those ear tabs. Could be because the tabs are slightly shorter than my RW and BT, but I prefer the shorter tabs. This caliente looks great.

Thanks to your excellent presentation, I just ordered the hand tied in Brown Sugar from WIgStudio1. LOVE that color! My hair is dark brunette that is quickly turning white and I'm using this color as a transition. My coloring is similar to yours. Love British Milk Tea too will probably go for that color too down the road. .Both colors look great on you!

Hi Marlene that wig Caliente is so bountiful but I have to say all wigs you show there all looks nice on you!! Anyway thanks for all your videos!! I been wearing wigs for the las 2 months and I’m getting more comfortable in it!! I’m learning how to make it more natural every time!! So far I have 5 wigs I need to wash them all!!🌺💕🥰☺️🙏🏻

Remember that less is more when it comes to washing wigs. Try to wait until they're worn at least 60 hours before washing. They'll last longer this way. xoxo

Hi Marlene, I left a comment and asked a question about this style but it seems to be deleted . I’ve purchased at least 6 BT wigs based on your and Taz’s reviews - 2 of which from WS1 site (I live in EU so usually only order from non EU sites when the deals compensate for the shipping ). So, it’s disappointing when my comment gets deleted . I do keep my comments respectful , civil and direct . My question is about BT ‘lace front’ going into mono top as there is no seam; is the material the same ? True lace fronts are a special fine lace , whereas mono tops are courser and the density is thicker. The BT units in general are knotted way too thick IMO to look natural both at the hairline and the part. I think they knot them by a machine technology - not by hand. Because you can’t pluck synthetic fibers easily without risk to damaging the mono - I’ve given up on BT. This ‘fully hand tied ‘ unit doesn’t come with an extended felt nape , Velcro adjusters or I suspect HD lace front . For 500$ that’s just not acceptable . Please start educating the public on what quality features are, what the differences are between monofilament and lace and whether ‘hand tied’ is what that means , I.e., made by hand or not .

Hi LD, I'm so sorry your comment was removed. I'm not on the page as much as I used to since now I oversee the page and have a few admins working throughout the day. I will certainly talk to them about being more careful with comments that are removed. Yes, the material is the same from the lace front to the mono part/full mono. BT doesn't add velcro adjusters. The adjusters on all their wigs are the pull type adjusters. Honestly, I understand what you're saying regarding the hand-tied. It's frustrating for us as reviewers because we can only go by what the manufacturer says. Those of us that review for WS1 attend trainings by the leading manufacturers. They say the mono is hand-tied or the cap is hand-tied, and that's all we have to go by. I wish I had the education to pick up a wig and know if it's really hand-tied or knotted by machine, but I honestly don't. I'm so sorry. xoxo

Hi, thank you for stopping by. You can try some root spray such as the one from L'Oreal but other than that, I don't believe there's any other way to lighten a root. xo Marlene

What does hand tied mean? Does it make the lace front look more natural?

Hi Sandy, I hand-tied cap doesn't affect the lace-front. The hand-tied cap is one where someone adds the fibers by hand and sews them individually into the soft material used as opposed to a wefted cap which is machine made. The lace front will be just about the same whether the cap is wefted or hand-tied. However, there are some brands, such as Belle Tress, Ellen Wille, and Raquel Welch, that have impeccable lace fronts and always look natural regardless of the color or cap. I hope this helps. xoxo

How do the silicone ear tabs work if you already have bio hair? I’m concerned that there will be slippage and it will be more obvious that I’m wearing a wig?

I have quite a few with the polyurethane on the ear tabs and don't have any issues. I think it's there for those with partial or total hair loss and want to add adhesive. For those of us with bio hair, there's no difference to my wigs that don't have it. xoxo

@@MarlenesWigChatStudio I have no hair at front and the poly ear tabs add grip even without adhesive, they kind of grip to the skin, and obviously can be used with tape if needed.

Hi Julie, when I was transitioning from dark to light colors, I wore Mocha with Cream. The first time I wore it, I felt as if I were wearing platinum blonde because I'm a dark brunette. I have it on many different styles. Now, I prefer BSSC. Since you usually wear brunettes, my suggestion is to start out with Mocha with Cream. You may feel that BSSC is too light. I know I would have when I transitioned from dark to light. Get used to wearing Mocha with Cream, then when you go to BSSC, it may not be too much of a shock for you. xoxo

Hi Diane, thank you for visiting! Most of the wigs in my personal collection are Belle Tress. I don't mind steaming every 4 or 5 wears, but I think it's a matter of preference. I don't find it hard, but I know many wearers prefer to stay away from the heat friendly fibers. I totally understand. xoxo
