Excellent real time tutorial on how to achieve lift off the forehead! I appreciate seeing how long you left the heat on the fibers & your technique. I too have a Conair with the cool button- fantastic idea to use that to set the hair after using the heat. Thank you Taz! 🥰🍃🌺🌸🌺🍃

My favorite Belle Tress style, light as air and the perfect length! Been thinking about this color a lot lately, may have to consider it on my next Kona. This one is easy to make work at the front bang area. I've owned several Konas so far and haven't had a bad one yet! Love it.

Honolulu is on Oahu which is where most people start out and if you go on a tour group type situation you and your husband will get a good introduction. Now Kona is on the " big island" as it is known just for additional info😊😊

A few bursts of medium heat from a hairdryer is my best friend. I even do it on non heat friendly fiber. 🤫🤭 PS: not a tip or recommendation, I do it because I’ve done it several times and know how to! ❤️

Yes.. I hear you on that! Low, quick pulses of heat can be safely used on a non heat friendly too if you're experienced. The hair dryer is my favorite wig styling/rescue appliance XOXO

Hi Taz, another great review! I have Kona in Ginger and love it! Had it for about 3 years and though I don't wear it every day it still is looking good. I too had to lift it off my face by steaming it. I don't seem to have any luck using the heat from my hands. I also love a hot air brush on my wigs. I've even steamed the curly wigs and wrap them in their hair net to dry overnight like Marlene does and it remarkable what it does to refresh the curls. Waiting for Kona to show up on clearance. Just wish Belle Tress would come out with some lighter cool brunettes. I also don't care for their adjusters and have sewn velcro on all of them that have an extended nape and they're now perfect.

Great review! I have a petite head. Strangely enough, Belle Tress is the only brand in which to the lace front fits small enough to not have lifts and gaps. The cap itself is big from the back of one ear wrapping behind the head to the im back of the other ear. Otherwise it fits me great!

Yes! You definitely made a difference. Would love to see you do more tutorials on synthetic wig manipulation. Using heat is a little tricky and I always get my air curler tangled in the fiber😂

Thanks for this review and the very helpful tips on getting lift. The hairdryer I use is one I got for the dog, so I think it has less heat. I noticed the color seems much warmer outside.

But the difference between how it looks outside and inside is great. For all hair colors, really. That is why I like Taz because she shows the wig outside as well.

Hi Taz! I am so glad you reviewed this because I was thinking of getting it and it’s not at all what I thought. I really dislike when it’s so straight in the front because it’s so hard to add curl and make it go with the rest of the style in my opinion! Of course you made it look great, but I find even if I force the curl in it by scrunching it, styles that have this straight front tend to flop with in the the hour! I love the color application on this one and that vibrant bright blonde in the front! I only have one style in this color and it’s on the Kushikamana and they did a super dark color application on this style. That color looks more like a good old shaded biscuit to me. The bright one!

Wow! I thought Kona had been discontinued! I have one that is a couple of years old and I have loved it. But recently it looks awful as of the cap lost its shape and just droops. I'll have to get it out and try some tricks on it. I'm not a natural, though, like you are.... 😉♥️

I like my front exactly like you do up and lifted and over. I can’t do a straight down the side of my face either just doesn’t get it for me.

Have owned many Belletress styles and seems the ear stays, which are metal, end up breaking easily. Guess I could pull them out much like the wire in an underwire bra when it goes awry, ha ha. Often the product is not worn out to justify disposing it.
