I mostly like it as it will help bridge players to m+ better as people can see mechanics in a more controlled less timer filled way. I like m+ as it is, but this change seems great for catching that group of players and getting them better and more invested which is great

Any mistake feels massive and half the time they aren’t even the groups vault. If this was xiv where everything is telegraphed sure, but wows viability is dog water

Genuinely if it was the case where visibility was better and things were telegraphed I wouldn’t mind the timer. But with how it is now, it just kinda feels like I’m being punished for mistakes that the game causes.

I just need to point out; It sounds like the war within is Warlords of Draenor level storytelling. They had dungeons wrapped directly to the story. WoD only fell short on content delivery, not bad content.

What killed WoD were the garrisons. Not having a hub for everyone was awful and I’m glad they scrapped that experiment. But in terms of quest/story, dungeon, and raids it was good. They had some super fun boss fights. Just wish they didn’t do the whole farmville style daily quests.

i've been playing the game since Vanilla, Follower Dungeons are something that i wish we had 20 years ago, as Vanilla questing would ultimately lead you to the dungeons to take care of what lies within. perfect example being the Defias Brotherhood in the Deadmines, but no one wanted to party up with a Holy Pally back then, so i didnt get to finish those questlines until soloing instances was a thing.

Yeah, hugely happy about this. It removes the wait for the group finder, too, so it's more immersive. I really hope they add a version for raids too, even if it doesn't have rewards.

Even if they don't add it for 25 man, only for 10, it would still require 9 NPCs that have to be programmed to deal with every single mechanic in every single raid. It will be very difficult to pull off, unless the NPCs are almost invinsible, which will make it a boring grind, not a challenge.

The folks talking about Sethrak were always coping. Helms never would have worked with them & back then Blizz didn't do races that couldn't show armor pieces. The true comparison is Vuplera, which used a pre-existing playable rig & showed customization & ability to equip armor & weapons.

@@dr.zoidberg8666 Sethrak used a worgan frame base, much as the Vulp used a gnome one. They could have made helms work on them with no more issue then worgan or tauren have to this day.

My real life friends do not play wow, most of them are not even gamers, and I do not like to play with unknown people. Solo raids would be a blesing for casual players like myself. Blizz said themself that they let casual players down. Also not everyone has whole day to play a game. That would save some time

@@jc6087 Rubbish. You can enjoy the vast amount of features of an MMO without playing with others, and huge amounts of players do. Very few MMOs requires you to group anymore, because they know if they don't cater to casuals and soloers, they won't survive.

The reason we get all these dumb new races is that it's the new generation of blizzard employees who care less for existing story and lore and more so inserting their own ideas into the game, which is where we got dracthyr and now these weird hybrid elves from. We should have had ogres, naga, etc by now.

Being able to 'send' currency is a great improvement. What would be the best improvement is if you can also just access it. No need to send it as the currency is instead linked between all characters.

Considering the casual and mid-core players outnumber diehards and elite players by a huge margin, it makes sense to make the game more attractive. I've been saying this for years now. You don't make much money on the select few, you need the volume of players. D4 gauntlet is a great example of this. Casual players won't run it because it's only for the elite players.

The currency transfer is a "take from alt" rather than a "send to alt" like it is now. You no longer need to logout and back in twice. It's a shame it wasn't like this from the beginning but it's great that they are finding these things and making them better.

Midcore and Casuals have been underserved, understatement of the year. At least they are acknowledging that, now they just have to prove they really are genuine about rectifying that issue. The no mount from awakened LFR isn't a good way to start though.

100k will probably get you the Normal raids boosted at the end-ish of the expansion, so, being casual, grind some gold and get a carry. LFR raiding I think still will be valuable, since I think bullion drops from those bosses.

Ok, sending currency to your alts via a UI button is better sure, but why not just let all the currency attach to the account and not the toon? If we can send stuff over so freely it still seems like a step down from just every currency being in the same place from the start...

I believe I heard some currencies are still transferred with a loss, they probably just aren't ready for a totally shared pool. Maybe in the next iteration of unified account that will be implemented. :)

Upgrade crests are a currency and have a character cap. Having these be account wide immediately would be a horrible scenario.

@@MrMrSymmetry that and Blizzard doesnt want players funneling endgame player power, if it was an irrelevant currency, then i'm sure they wouldnt care. but that's the problem with a lot of players, they dont care about progressing as a single character, they think that because they can play one class good, all the other toons should get an easier climb up the ladder, but that is something Blizzard will never greenlight.

Making the Mythic dungeons the same as the current season Mythic+ rotation would be best, cause it would make sure people doing mythic were also practicing and learning the mechanics for mythic + where TIME MATTERS. and sending them into new dungeons would just make that nature kinda mute.

They just need to more options to the current races instead of just adding more sexy elf ones. Still waiting on the actually monsterous "monster" women (ie. making female trolls slouch and giving female draenei brow-horns) &. slim men (seriously why are all the male models built like four-door sedans, there is no reason for my squishy draenei mage to be stacked), actual undead races, and female dwarf/male troll beards dammit.

Solo RBGs makes me so happy as a Veteran of the game. The worst part of RBGs was the political game of needing to create alliances with toxic RBG leaders. The higher you pushed your rating, the less fun the social aspect of the gameplay would be. It wasn’t a good experience overall.

pretty disappointed in the currency solution... just make them completely shared currency for most of them without having to transfer them from between characters. If it makes sense to keep some of them kinda separate then do that but most of them shouldn't require these extra steps.

i believe war bands should be used for those quest we sent our followers on. it would be a good way to level alts while you level your main. ways to gain certain items, transmog, gear, mats and food drops.

No, the 71-80 talent points go to hero talents not our original talent trees. Some hero talents have new abilities. That's about it unless your spec gets a redesign.

At the end of the Mag'har Orc allied race quest, you see "extras" came to Azeroth with you and quickly flee. The genesaur likely is finally calling back to that. Then with Khadgar, I wouldn't be shocked if we're trading him out for a Medivh return for TWW and Midnight, then Khadgar returns in TLT with him pulling a Gandalf the White situation.

That or the genesaur is somehow an inherent creature of "life" magic, a sort of base form. Like how we get naaru and stuff for other magic types. Maybe vine creatures are the base form for life magic. would be nice to explore that

I get weird time lord / Dr who mess up with time and lore that she's going to be from a weird time from before and she's a "true" Lothar and want to make her a superior version by using his namesake or something. Maybe even "I'm the one who gave them their last name and we were lost in time." Idk if any of this will happen but...something feels off.

I'll be happy if they add a new continent with humans on it, and explain it that way, but for now it makes no fking sense. If there is a minority that exists in a population for 1000s of years, they mix in. Jews and Gypsies are an example. Gypsies used to be Indians, Jews used to be middle eastern, but go ahead and look at them in western Europe, they are indistinguishable from the local population. There is no good explanation other than black people arrived in the eastern kingdoms very recently, and Lothar's relatives mixed with foreigners.

I salute the devs wanting to improve the story and not make it quite so... bad. Only slight problem with this particular play though is that we now know the shadow lands exists. If our dude kicks the bucket, he's not really dead, is he? He's just 'somewhere else.' That's not dead. My head canon is that he rocks up at Oribos, says, 'hi all, long time no see,' then heads down to the maw and bangs Sylvanas.

Well they hinted of primordial trolls in dragonflight that never happened so maybe they show this missing link of dark trolls/Night elves hybrid,if they are the allied race or just a race feat ingame that is another question. I know WoW was never really a game that people played for the story but I was wondering if you can do a video about the expansions that provide the most important lore for the upcoming expansion so new players can be attached to the story and play the game themselves a little bit.

20 years, now, and they still haven't thought of a decent reasoning to add in Ogres or Broken? Even when there's lore to back up the inclusion?

Both niche demands. Sure the minority on the forums calling for them are loud... but they are a minority, & even everyone on the forums is a TINY fraction of the playerbase. I personally wouldn't mind broken, but if we're to get another fat playable race I'd much rather Tuskarr.

@@dr.zoidberg8666 Honestly the minority of players wanting them are better and more valid than the new generation of blizzard devs inserting their own fanfiction race ideas into the game (dracthyr, harronir, etc) just because thy got a job and want to have the spotlight on bad ideas

They would need an expansion that features both of those races. Since we're comitted to returning to Quel'thalas and Northrend, maybe we will get outland again? What would be cool is the ogre continent hinted in WoD as an outland area

can we just stop killing main characters thus far they've killed Varian Vol'jin Rhonin Garrosh Cairne Korialstrasz ect and they were all characters with depth and they havent replaced them with anyone thats interesting IMO plz plz plz if your going to kill someone like Khadgar off make it worth while and have a plan for someone to step into his role thats interesting and not one of the make her female make her ahem " non binary " kathleen Kennedy move

Harronir Race=Bats (to me). the ears on this new Harronir Race look just like bat ears. The new area has expansive underground caverns. Vampires!

Imagine for a second if in the follower dungeon you could bring your alts in so instead of a preset characters you can opt in to bring your alt tank healer and dps and instead run dungeons with ai controlled alts

PvP solo queue BG being the default WoW PvP arrived like 10 years too late for me I got fed up with being third class citizen It was my main WoW thing for the longest time

Of all the things on the list of races that people want, somehow I don't think "neanderthal troll elf hybrids" was very high up on anybody's list at all. Why do they refuse to give us Drakonids, Tuskarr, Fal'Dorei, Sethrak, Ogres, Naga, Vrykul, or Arrakoa? You know the things that people have asked for every time that someone asks what we'd like to see for an allied race??

I would really like to control the height of shoulder gear. In Wowmodelviewer, you can change the center point of geometry and some shoulders just feel incredibly different if they're not hovering half a foot above the actual shoulder.

That allied race looks severely like a vampire not a troll it looks nothing like a troll or night elf honestly it looks exactly like a vampire lol. Honestly if it is a vampire im DEFINITELY here for it and want it!!

So, the Follower Dungeons are the best thing, and one of the few good thing (IMHO) that came from Dragonflight. However...Blizzard? STOP SCREWING WITH THE LEVELING! OR, if you really feel like you HAVE to add a "speed leveling" Make it a system you can activate at an NPC, rather than the default! The Journey to the end is always more enjoyable than the end. (For me, at least. Just ranting, here) Hopefully we get more new abilities beyond the Hero Talents, as well. And looking forward to the Harronir info. If they are revealed to be either A: The middleground between Dark Trolls and Night Elves, or B) The Proto Trolls we were promised in Dragonflight, I will be happy. Trolls are my favorite race, and more and more evidence (As far as I have seen) seems to point to them being, like Dragons, born of Azeroth, and not Titan influence. Much excitement coming!

Only reason I feel like spiders wouldn’t be an allied race is the Arachnophobia mode that they have now. Would that make them crabs??

Hey, guys. I didn't get very well as to the leveling. Is leveling going to be faster or slower? I'd so dearly appreciate a slower leveling experience, with no need to be vanilla like, but at least an experience which made me feel like my character is really progressing.
