Below is simply one of the best gaming experiences I've had in 37 years of gaming. As is usually the case with the best indie games, the soundtrack is a pivotal factor in the overall incredibility of the game. Jim, you did some of the best work in your field that has ever been done, and I sincerely hope that you're still doing it. You've an amazing talent, and thank you for sharing it with all the rest of us.

Jim, you are awesome! First time, I've met your music in game "Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP". It was so surprising good - and it's not only the music during gameplay, fights, cutscenes, but also all sounds... everything was so perfect for me. I've played that game 6 years ago, but I still comeback to that music from time to time. And then after years, I saw producer logo/title of game Below: "Capy & Jim Guthrie". When I saw your name I've immediately wanted to play it. More because of your music, less because of the game. On the beginning I've quickly started to hate it because of hard difficulty level, but that impact, which whole project made on me, caused to come back after few days. Now for me that game is so great and I bet it couldn't be without your work. It is not like your music is like a cherry on top of good pie, but I feel like this game has a huge impact on the player because your music is there - and it helps to immerse yourself into that story and place. Your music and sounds delivers huge emotions, and they help to believe that it is not a simple game, but something deep with the meaning. All that map and inventory sounds...especially that perfect sound when we choose a crafting step things and when the crafting recipe is completed -all that sounds are masterpiece. They are so good. Or when you find one of important lantern fragment, it goes down as a pulsating light... that sound... You probably don't know, how perfect they are, and how good they match to that game type. Music: "Lost Lanterns", "Catacombs" "In the pocked", "The Cathedral Interior", Trogg Mounds" are masterpiece. Once, I had Trogg Mounds in my head for half of the day and I couldn't rid of it :) I've finished The Below, and now I'm sad, that there is nothing more left to hear or see and discover about that bliss, which you all guys gave me. Thank you! I hope to hear more of your music in that kind of type of games (below, sword & sworcery, etc)

Great soundtrack! Perfectly captures the game's (and adds to) tone, gameplay, mechanics, atmosphere, enviroments, themes and defintely the ending. Just completed it an hour ago, what a thought provoking ending. My experience as a player, really resonated with the thematics of the wanderer(es). I love this music even more after I finished the game. Great game and defintely a great soundtrack too! Well done indeed! It fits perfectly!

I've stopped playing this game after a while (died somewhere really deep, almost impossible for me to get there now), but when I'm listening to this music, and I listen to it almost every day, I just feel so strong urge to keep going, to keep trying and to keep dying until I get to the bottom, or I go nuts

Hello. I am playing games since 1998. I discovered Below about 2 weeks ago. The gameplay is okay, hard, but satisfying. BUT This game has the most captivating intro I have ever seen.
