Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art - Ivory Carvings
Located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA
For more information about these incredible works of art visit: belzmuseum.org...
IVORY NOTICE: We share a love for elephants and abhor the poaching of even one of these magnificent animals. In that spirit, please note that this ivory is NOT from modern day elephants or elephants at all.
Here is a quote from the museum website that might help clear this up:
"Many of them were created from woolly mammoth tusks found in the permafrost of Siberia that date back 10,000 years. Upon their discovery, the tusks were traded to China and often carved into dioramas by artists in the 1900s."
What is shown in this video are fossilized mammoth tusks, not modern day elephants tusks.

I share your concern about the poaching of elephants for their tusks. That is not what is happening in this video. If I'm not mistaken the city of Bellz is located in Ukraine. Ukrainians cannot make such masterpieces. Are these exhibits legally purchased from artisans or are they legally stolen like the exhibits of most European nations? Please for your honest answer.

There is a city in Ukraine with the name Belz. However, that is only a coincidence. These carvings are at the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art located in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. I don't know the full history of each of the pieces, but I do know that the museum is named for the founder, Mr. Jack Belz. Here is the website for more information. belzmuseum.org/visit/

For many of you you do not know what is a ivory may it is me an elephant from Africa especially that you're already well some of you noticed already that poachers and even that well predators that are the capture of a elephant tusks they could be like extinct over the elephant of a species that it's going to be a dangerous species at 12 but let me remind you today right now in 2022 that this law is already passed already from this year in 2022 and forever in the future if anyone have an IV that is illegal then it is illegal
