Fun fact: he's been speaking Spanish since he was casted in a Spanish television show when he was 13 for a year. He's been practicing ever since. Waaayyy better than JLo

He learned when he was 13. He says he speaks Spanish "passively". When he was 13 he was on a kids series and it was shot in Mexico. He lived there for a year for that show and had to learn it.

Que maravilloso ver a una figura famosa hablando español como segunda lengua. Me gustó su frase: "el español es la alegría de mi vida". Cuando dice "es una muy difícil pregunta" me hace pensar en la gramática del inglés donde ellos colocan primero el adjetivo y luego el sustantivo: difficult question. Nosotros hubiéramos dicho: es una pregunta difícil. Pero se nota que entiende bastante bien el español y se defiende bien.. el español es más difícil que el inglés: por sus accidentes gramaticales, los artículos según géneros, etc. El inglés es más sencillo la verdad.

@@OhDontMindMee Uh, I just said "another Canelo". A Mexican boxer who is 100% Mexican, but has pale skin and red azz hair. I'm aware there's a small portion of very Western European-looking people in Latin America bc it's an immigration destination. The same way some Arabs and South Asians have fair skin and blue/green eyes. It's just not the norm. It's not the standard or common look. Ben actually looks like he might be from the Mediterranean when he gets a tan is what I was saying.👍🏼
