The real appeal of his channel is the combination of pop culture humour and cute animals in a setting you wouldn't normally find them.

It's nice to see that the news show how Uncle Ben uses the bin lid on Kevin, and why. I feel like most channels wouldn't do that, out of fear of PETA coming after them. But it really isn't harmful for the rhea to do that. Rheas lose feathers very easily, for the silliest of reasons. They are delicate birds. But Kevin and Karen both have a full coat even after a year in Uncle Ben's care, so he is obviously treating them right. He treats all his animals right. He even manages to save some that have practical death sentences, some that even vets have given up on. Not to mention the Snow White-esque way he seems to just attract wildlife, like Poppy the Possum or his flock of pigeons. So yeah, Uncle Ben knows his stuff!

Ben's a wonderful guy to watch, very intelligent and hard working. It's fun to see his progress on projects and learn things about the animals. He's always learning new ways to take care of rescue animals and learning new things about them and it's interesting to see.
