A budget rally car challenge with Ben, Chris, and Alex would be mental. Tbh anything with those 3 would be awesome.

Alex got the car correct, it is a crx del sol. The name changes slightly by the market it was sold in. I had a mk2, loved that car.

Would love to see the Autoalex Rally Edition featuring Ben Collins and Chris Harris, it’s got quite a ring to it! Now if you can make your own cars for less than 5-10k, even better!

I can confirm, Top Gear ruined the black mountains which are all now average speed cameras of 40mph. However, this isn't a problem on a motorbike.... Simply stop under a camera, take some cool pics of the bike, the scenery, all the cool cars coming past, then wait for a pause in traffic before sprinting to the next camera and repeating. I can confirm this works 😂

We absolutely need an open source version of Top Gear by and for the community, with a rolling shifting cast based on youtuber availability. This is the thing I never knew I needed, and it'll bring more exposure to related youtuber's. I only discovered Autoalex from this side of the pond because you popped up on Tavarish, but I never really got into your content until you'd popped up on other youtube channels I follow over the last bunch of months. This is the magic formula that will grow the cartuber community, if it weren't for your networking with other youtubers, I wouldn't be subscribed to your main channel. I'm still letting youtube decide when to offer up the v2 channel...and this video came up on my feed per the algorithm within a day of it's release...presumably because the youtube algorithm feels it's related content, which is fair and accurate. This is the second podcast I've watched, and the only one I've watched completely....two weeks ago I didn't know you had a podcast....

One of my favorite Top Gear moments ever was when Ben did the coaching for the veterans who were doing the Dakar

I took my Meriva VXR on this till road last summer during a family holiday to Butlins Minehead. Went the other way along it, though, as we took the A39 originally as we went out to meet my mum at a pub for lunch (as she just so happened to be holidaying down there at the same time). I had no idea it was a really stage, but I certainly drove like it was (kinda). Was a lot of fun, even though I did have the family in the car at the time 😂

Try living in NZ, it sucks. Rural roads are now 80kph (50mph) on dead straight sections, 60kph (37mph) with slight corners and 40kph (23mph) when the road gets fun. + zero tolerance with speeding. Motorways are only 100kph (62mph) and city's are 30kph (18mph) 😭
