Do you want to have calories every time you eat? Some things come with an innate purpose. Eating and sex are two of those things. There are physical, moral, and societal consequences to trying to have free access to those activities without their primary consequence. Additionally, historically women did not have babies every time they had sex, even prior to abortion and contraception, because a lactational amenorrhea due to historic patterns of breastfeeding that few women attempt today (extreme frequency was the norm) naturally spaced babies 2.5-3.5 years apart, so women only menstruated once or twice every 3 years from about age 15-40.

@@JL13675condoms have an extremely high failure rate. Do a survey of 100 people and find out how many of them conceived while using condoms. The usual standard failure rate is about 17%. That's a LOT over, say, 10 years of having sex.

Graham Norton is my absolute fave. Pure entertainment without the unnecessary preaching and the way he gets the best stories out of his guests is unmatched (imo). As a Brit I've only seen bits and pieces from KZfaq of US talk shows but Conan and Craig Ferguson seemed amazing. Kimmel, Fallon and Corden I cannot stand. They come across incredibly fake and make me cringe.

My parents have been watching old Johnny Carson episodes. It genuinely made me sad. So little of the show was partisan. It appealed to decent people with decent families and decent values.

A few years ago I did some time in prison and I had a tv in my cell and got about 7 basic cable channels, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and PIX. I was up late every night so pretty much the only shows on were these late night hacks and it was truly crazy how shockingly unfunny they all were and that was way back in 2014-2016. I can’t even imagine how bad they are now.
