Ben Feringa: "Be open ... and together you can do marvellous things." Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2016

Ben Feringa, Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry 2016, was joined by 14 students from all over the world and from different disciplines within science for a conversation on the topic of being a scientist. Dr. Feringa gave his best advice for how to overcome failures in the lab, his best tips for maintaining a science career, and guidance to the students on how to handle ethical dilemmas while working in the lab.
The conversation was organised by Nobel Prize Outreach, one of the public outreach arms of the Nobel Foundation, and supported by Nobel International Partners, 3M, ABB, Capgemini, EQT, H2 Green Steel and Scania.
The conversation was moderated by Carin Klaesson (Curator, Nobel Prize Museum).

One of the best demonstrations of physical activity our Science Teacher showed us was a perspex tube, Talcum powder, and a sound source to vibrate the air in the tube. There are followup demonstrations of suspension of foam particles between sound speakers, and a dust cyclone that uses velocity gradients to drop heavy particles, and so push out empty air. This is the fundamental conic-cyclonic coherence-cohesion i-reflection Pi-bifurcation containment structure of "All is Vibration" e-Pi-i resonance bonding proportioning. One of the most inspiring, motivating and thought provoking talk by a true scientist, engineer, inventor and professor. it was indeed pleasure, absolute delight and meaningful experience to feel appreciative inquiry's and in such humbleness dignified fashion addressed each other questions and answers session. The politics inherent in science and technology policy sphere influenced secrecy landscape turned itself upside down as a double edged sword where so called applied sciences domain is totally weaponry fuelled for mass scaled human destruction that can wiped out entire species from earth surface like biological / chemical / cyberphysical warfares applications threatening cosmic evils axis spinned wicked problematics of both new and old world order of power simultaneously.
