So glad to have watched this!! Still a little confused behind the context of Jason Sudeikis playing trombone.. but I'm not complaining. When I was in middle school and this was common, my mom's "hold" music for her cell phone was this song! Always makes me think of her.

Can't imagine we'll ever see Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, and Flava Flav all sitting on the couch next to each other again. I actually love all three of these musicians for different reasons and times of my life. We don't have to get into Flavor of Love lol, just leave it at he was the best hype man in the biz w Public Enemy...

For everybody thinking Regina's mic was doing weird stuff or Autotune was being used and cutting in and out... I respectfully disagree. I don't think autotune was used at all. She is doing the low and high notes and increasing and decreasing her own volume with her voice. Any singer knows how to do things like that and this song calls for it. Actually I thought it sounded great! But obviously nobody cares about my opinion of course, just thought I'd share my 2 cents. Cheerio!

So glad I got to see him do this live in Cleveland a few years back. My only regret is that Regina wasn't there too.

I'm a little surprised that a lot of people don't realize the trombone player's sole purpose in this performance is as a goof; but then again it's a dumb inside joke so maybe I shouldn't be. Some things that touring artists do to keep things interesting from show to show are the dumbest, silliest lowest level of humor that makes the band laugh but that most of the audience doesn't even notice. Ben sure as heck finds it funny.. he's such a dork and unapologetically himself (except for when he apologizes for being himself lol.) It shows they are having a lot of fun- and it's little things like this that makes me really miss playing live music. Gettin' all emotional over here 🥲🥹😅

I’m not sure the trombone player was the only issue here. Her sound was all messed up and the levels kept changing, not just her but other instruments. I’m guessing they had a super small stage to cram all that stuff into and they couldn’t move as needed. Not sure if the music went flying because the drummer knocked them off or what. They just didn’t seem comfortable, any of them.
