I saw Judy Garland at The Palace in 1951. She ended the show by sitting on the stage extension singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and she was in tears. I will never forget it.

Really Blanche. Yes, they could have picked many, many Broadway performers to sing that better. It is a nuanced song in an exact vignette in the play, Caberet.

I hadn’t heard him before I saw him singing the song “Corina Corina” earlier today with Country artist Chet Atkins and friends. Found this video as it was listed in my recommendations here on KZfaq. At least, I think it was him. No one else could have that beautiful curly hair the same gorgeous color as my mother’s hair was. I loved her hair 😻😇🥰‼️ Anyways. I think Ben Platt is just MARVELOUS 😻👏🏻🥰‼️ Well, I just watched the “Corina Corina” video again. Not sure if that is Ben or not. Might be someone else but looks enough like Ben to make me wonder.

@@jcarson7574 He told us from the stage that we could. I think because it’s a /residency/concert rather than a play or musical. We could also film at the Jonas Brothers Broadway residency last year.

People who know Cabaret understand that the robe is an homage to Sally Bowles and therefore, enhances the performance. And people who don’t are in the wrong place 😂
