Ben Rhodes actually had the same number of Top 10's as John Hunter Nemechek (16), and had one more lead lap finish (19 for Rhodes, 18 for Nemechek), and he had a better average finish (9.32 for Rhodes, 9.77 for Nemechek).

Ben Rhodes, at 24 years old, is the youngest of the three NASCAR champions this season. He was born on February 21, 1997. Daniel Hemric, the Xfinity Series champion, at 30 years old (born January 27, 1991), is the oldest. Kyle Larson, the Cup Series Champion, is 29 years old (born July 31, 1992).

@@user-rl7cw9eg8e The Rule is Championship Contender with a highest position whether it’s a win or not (beaten by a non playoff contender) wins the championship and there’s a 1 in 2 odds that a driver without race wins, can be a champion.

Ben Rhodes had the best average finish in the Truck Series this season, despite only winning the first two races, with a 9.32. That beats out John Hunter Nemechek's 9.77 average finish, even though he had won five races this season. Rhodes also was the only Truck Series driver to have no DNF's this season. The other drivers in the Champ 4 had anywhere from 1 to 3 DNFs this season.
