He is such a hot dad in the movie. and the fact that he treats her just like she’s his real daughter in terms of how much he cares for her in real life is super cute and somehow makes him even more attractive. It’s so adorable how proud of her he is. Not featured here but there is one interview where someone asks if Matilda has seen the M&S specials and you can see Ben make a face that looks like his life is flashing before his eyes before she’s like “Ben told me they were inappropriate so I haven’t” and then he looks so relieved. Iconic protective dad moment.

OK, even knowing how they do the magic trick, I still find it pretty impressive he can figure out how to spell it out without giving it away and she can can figure out what's he trying to spell so quickly.

@@TweEkc Yeah, it's the first letter of every sentence he says after 'this time it isn't': "Can you put your fingers on your head? Listen to the voice in your head. Open your mind. Open your mind. Now let the words in. Everyone's watching. You can do this." Put all the first letters together and it spells C-L-O-O-N-E-Y :)

used to do the “magic trick” a a kid/teen and it would freak everyone out lol Except for vowels we would snap. 1 snap for A, 2 for E, etc

Yes! I would do this in girl guides, we would use a broom and would sweep on the floor while saying it and tap he brush for the vowels, we called it magic writing

2:49 so u can see girl looking right, which is where imessage pops up on her mac, and ben sent her the text the second time he looked down to use his phone THEN put it away. so she looks to the right and reads the name. she does a “okay IM READY IM READY🤩🤩” and thATS HOW THEY DID IT🎊🎊🎊☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️
