Keep the releases coming. I've been amazed, ever since I fell asleep with Google music on a random stream and woke up at 3am to Amian playing. Even though I wanted to go back to sleep, I had to wake up and figure out what I had just heard to make sure I could come back to it later! I'd love to hear you in a trio setting, just bass and drums. There's a lot going on with your approach to saxophone that sax junkies would love to hear in that sparser setting.

@@Gomb0c , after studying and performing all kinds of music , some for the joy , some for money only as a skill for 55yrs I have developed an opinion of what I like. For ME 90% of what people call "smooth jazz" is not real music, just product coming from an egoic space. Stavinsky, Penderecki et al Ben Wendell, Coltane Bach, Paul Desmond and so much that has been played is real music for me. I have recorded some very simple TaiChi and meditation stuff for Walter Becker R.I.P. which I felt was real. For me its where I feel its coming from within the performer. As in when someone is bullshitting you , you might say get real .Bens music is always real for me. It is my perception and my opiniion and that's all I have a right to( except when I am teaching and someone is playing wrong)😋😃

Ben you are a great mucisian, but you need to realize the diference between seasons and months. Season are four; summer, autumn, winter and spring. Months are: January, Febreaury, March, April, etc. Therefore you should call this band Ben Wendel Months Band not Ben Wendel Seasons Band.

Ill say that if you were to look at the year as a full season there are micro changes Feb cold is def. Different from January cold and storms r different. August has a diff. Feel to june or September which is summer for most of that month so seasons works fine #benwendel
