The bass player has an amazing voice too. And Floor & Marko's voices were made for each other. This whole Wacken 2013 concert has 15 gem songs. The stars aligned that night for a monumental concert.

Nightwish Army Finland here. Thank you, very nice reaction! Just Nightwish doing Nightwish things! And as you have surely noticed, although they are all outstanding , none of them standout 😍 Nightwish is their own genre and no other band comes close to the level they are at. Never, in the history of music entertainment, have a set of skills and talent collided in such powerful manner. Tuomas is a true genius as a composer and with lyrics and Floor is a Valkyrie Goddess!

Floor (the Valkyrie Goddess) Jansen stands over 6 feet tall, and she's wearing 4 to 5 inch heels here.....Tuomas (the Metal Mozart) Holopainen is the keyboardist, co-founder (in 1996), leader, guru, composer, lyricist, arranger, and producer of 95% of the band's music....audience here was an intimate little gathering of 82,000.......this entire legendary show is available on both DVD and KZfaq, under the title of "Showtime, Storytime"....you'll likely be contacted by one Gabriel Bardac, who is the unofficial leader and historian, and General of the distant thunder you may be hearing, which is the Nightwish Army coming to reinforce you.....hello from the Nightwish Army, South Carolina, USA...by the way, their new album, "Yesterwynde" is coming out in September........

Believe it or not, its just the tip of the iceberg. Still around 30 vids and side kicks to go, some as good and quite a few even better. Some even absurd and almost impossible. Lots of surprising variations and on top of it.......there is another great, prominent voice hidden in this band.

Some informations about that festival: it is the biggest metal-festival in the world with more than 80,000 visitors. And it takes place in the north of Germany. A little bit north of Hamburg. This festival is every year sold out three or four hours after the presale for the next year started. And no band is announced. And the village Wacken has only 1800 citizens. You can call them hillbillies but they know how to use this festival for their own advantages. And everybody knows it and everybody supports it. That's real friendship.

The singers come and go. Though Floor Jansen is awesome and worthy successor to Tarja Turunen however the real soul of the band is Tuomas Holopainen who's going to, in my opinion, go on to the same list as Jean Sibelius.

our Dutch pride Floor Jansen is a soprano, with an range of more than three octaves from C3 to F6. Her singing style varies from opera and clean singing to screaming and grunting. She usually sings in English, but she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish
