So impressed by him. He has so much passion and enthusiasm, you'd wan't to run for him. However, he also has that air of authority that says "buy into what I'm doing and you'll succeed, but if you don't, you're gone." I certainly wouldn't want to cross him. I liked Unai as a person (he was useless for us), seemed like a nice guy, I wanted to get behind him but I did not trust him tactically ONE bit. Yet, Arteta seems so switched on and has us fighting already. For the first time in years I feel excited to watch us play! He reminds me of Wenger in terms of football, but he seems ruthless - which I love! COYG.

You're delusional. If Unai was useless to us then what was Wenger lmao? Finished a distant 6th TWICE compared to missing out on 3rd by 2 points. Saying you didn't trust him tactically at all is equally as hilarious, he had a brilliant record in the PL during his time here when we faced the big teams, something again, that was sorely lacking under Wenger. We also had numerous goal of the season contenders under Emery, this is a pure doom and gloom narrative which stinks of a rptten agenda. I honestly cannot stand fans like you. No doubt you were scapegoating Xhaka a couple of weeks ago. I am glad we have Arteta but Emery did good things for this club while he was here, period.

patchh15 lmao alright calm down. I watched emery play a 442 diamond with Torreira as a CAM. Looking totally clueless. I watched us get hammered by Villa, Sheffield United etc. I liked Emery but don’t think he was up to the job. Wenger went the entire season unbeatable. Don’t even try and tell me Emery is better than Wenger 😂 I love how you try and group me into the fan base you don’t like. I was not one of “toxic fans” against Xhaka. I posted this as a positive message but you clearly have Emery’s testicles in your eyes stopping you from seeing that.

You talk lies from the off because Torreira was never a "CAM" he was a box to box #8 in a Midfield of 3, much like Kante was under Sarri. Yes buddy, when did Wenger do that, can you even remember the year lmao? He put me and millions of fans through Hell for his last 8 years where he refused to address positions in the squad and continued to get battered in big games and much more. Finally, no. I just simply don't do rotten agenda's like you and can actually call it how it is, rather than twisting things (like the tactics) to suit such a wrong narrative. patchh15 I dislike opinions that don’t align with my own? I liked Emery, thought he was a genuinely likeable guy but I thought his tactics were so poor. I did not understand his philosophy and we played about 7 different formations. If he was such a success he would still be there now. Of course, just try and attack me personally by trying to indicate I’m young and won’t remember Wenger. Of course I do. I also disliked the way it ended under him and thought he made so many mistakes. Leaving this wonderful club in such a bad way. You could have clearly just said to me in the first comment that you thought Emery was tactically sound and I’d have had a good discussion, but instead you just called me delusional and called me a toxic fan? I don’t know what I did wrong 😂 we should all be behind the team! Let’s just agree on one thing, we both support Arteta! Have a good evening!

All I have asked from the fans (my fellow Gooners) is to keep calm and expect the best from Mikel. It's pretty obvious that we "might" not be able to fight for top European draws but a UEL fighting status could definitely be an OK for this season. I love how he barely reacts to a missed opportunity, but goes off when we make a mistake which makes us lose possession. Arteta doesn't get lost in his emotions while watching the game like almost all of us do, instead he keeps analyzing and makes sure everyone sticks to the plan. Absolutely chuffed to have him as our manager, we might very well be looking at our next legendary manager
