What makes an air rifle a competition gun?
Is it features? Price? Accuracy? Aftermarket parts?
Or is it that you are just so comfortable with it that you can coax it to do great things?
Here's another different review from PJ. Not a Box to Bench, and certainly not an unboxing. This one starts with him already out there doing some shooting. In a competition. A big one. The Pyramyd Air Cup. The Gunslynger Challenge. Against some pretty tough shooters.
How does the Krait L do? To set it up for speed competition the side-lever was switched from the right side to the left, and she was topped with the Element Optics Helix HDLR 2-16. Bipod duties were handled by Scandinavian Airguns and out front was a DonnyFL Ryu moderator.
For those of you who are into pest control generally, or invasive iguana control specifically, the second section of the video starting at about 12:43 is for you. For those of you who find that sort of thing disagreeable, you might want to skip from 12:43 to 17:35.
Thanks to @pyramydair for hosting The Cup. It's such a great competition and I'm glad it's back on the calendar! Thanks also to @UtahAirguns for making videos like this one possible. One final shout-out to @backyardairguns for sharing your footage of the Cup!
There is airgun shooting in this video, but no firearms are featured. Footage from the Pyramyd Air Cup was filmed on a closed, private range during an organized competition with range officers in place. Footage of invasive iguana hunting was filmed on private property at landowner request, in an area closed to the public. All applicable safety precautions were observed during filming.
