I just got 2 of these in a custom box for a Tacoma. I’m actually pretty excited after seeing this. Shallow mount was really the only option without giving up seat space in the back. Thanks man!

I have this sub I really like it. I originally had the ix 10 in the skar prefab that's carpeted and the ix 10 finely blew. I realized this vd 10 matched perfect with the prefab and it sounds good. It goes low and doesn't need much space. I'm thinking now about how many I can fit in my Corolla trunk

I have these, after a few attempts to find subs that actually handle rated power I landed in these.but as far as shallow goes they missed it these are deeper than kicker c10.

I have 2 skar 12's shallow mount in my f350 with a CT sound 2000.1 at 1ohm. For 87 bucks a speaker I can punish them and rock at the same time. If they blow they are a cheap replacement.

I reconed two of the 12s with lord of bass parts i got out of the dumpster and they sounded great in sealed boxes. Shallow mount subs but still like the normal cubic feet of air space as the average 12 requires 1-1.25 cubes.

Got a yukon xl amd wanted to do 3 of these on a 2k amp in a bandpass box like a 6th or something where i can still put shit on top of the box

Under seat sa12 sounds good but needs more air space.

Mine just came but im at work gonna install tonight... because I have a power acoustik 10 inch 300-700watt reaper that is discontinued and is now starting to crap out on high volume was great though for 7 yrs running on a 500 watt fosgate with control knobe.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I have the 12s same model they definitely can take more then the 4-500w RMS and sound perty good but there a couple things you should no about shallow subs the only space you save is on the depth and the down fall is you loose some xmax vs a standard size sub and you actually end up with a longer and taller box because of the air space needed is still the same as a standard size sub but your depth of box and sub is less being shallow so the box ends up being wider and taller Wich work for a truck just a fyi 👍👌✌️💯🎶🍻

The skar vd 10 d4 I had was ok sounded good for a slim mount but they don't use enough high temp glue on the voice coil and eventually it started sounding crunchy u could press down and hear that Dreaded noise so IDK Maybe I just got a Friday sub ..🤷

What kind of mic are you using? It would be super cool to be watching your tests and be able to follow the frequency response on my system (I went all the way to my car to watch this with my system hooked up but it would've definitely been a better review for my next upgrade) ((currently running a ported SA 15)) Your intro and outro music sounded great but couldn't really get the most out of the demo aside from the visual, anyways great shots, but if you're getting more into the YT reviews should invest in that sooner or later boss, 🤜🤛 respectfully

ok so what amp were you pushing it with? what wattage? how was the sub wired? ohm load? zero info in this video apart from your test frequencies and that the speaker in fact works.

Shallow mount subs are not good but I guess if it's that or nothing then I'd get 1
