This is hilarious. I just traded mine, but it was a user. Thinking of only handling it with a microfiber cloth is absurd. Even after what I consider mild use, but what plenty would consider heavy use it still looked, for the most part, just like yours. It had been sharpened a half dozen times, and had a few light scratches on the blade but a couple seconds under some hot water then wiping it down with a paper towel it still shined all the same. After that, I can confidently tell you that your fingerprints won't hurt it.
