For this Bent Plywood Lounge Chair Project I wanted to show that it is possible to use inexpensive materials and basic hand held tools to make curved and hi end looking furniture. I got the plywood from homedepot and used a technique called Kerf Bending to make it more flexible. This Bent Lamination Plywood Lounge Chair was done to kick off the next challenge, the #RocklerBentWoodChallenge that we are hosting on our Podcast. The Modern Maker Podcast.
So Make sure to follow the hashtag on instagram, and listen to episode 151 of the podcast to hear more on it. Full Details below.
Modern Maker Podcast - www.modernmakerpodcast.com/

I thought a headrest would be good, but Velcro strips on the wood would look tacky.; How about a "pillow" in two halves, one side padded, the other just fabric, that would fit over the top of the chair like a hat.?
