@sii7487 I can agree on that but I just feel like it didn't look nearly as intense in the series version. The movie version felt powerful whereas the battle between Katara and Pakku felt like they had limited athletic ability and technology to be able to pull off anything substantial. Granted, it's a teenager vs an elderly man, but it still felt like it needed to look bigger and more cinematic. Something about it just felt underwhelming. We also didn't really get to see water benders working together to create bigger attacks with their skills.

M. Knight Shyamalan completely disrespected ever that made the show great. It never took multiple earthbenders to bend a wall, or firebending to require a fire source. Give someone else the director chair and a good team then they might create a successful movie worth watching

Lol, the fact it took multiple dancing earthbenders to move a small wall was laughable, and the firebenders needing a fire source to generate fire was also ridiculous and laughable. Now bare in mind I saw the film first before I saw the animated series so I thought it was normal but after watching the animated series which I loved so much I realized the film was the worse ever film made.

I'd they could get the characters down, the bending down, and follow the damn actual first ATLA!!! It would be pure gold, and huge emphasis on the bending, make the actors watch the ATLA series they should be able to nail the acting hopefully too

How can firenation managea to conquer lands if they can't produce fire on their own. They literally need a source to control fire. This should've been an easy task for water benders and earthbenders as their source is naturally available in the surroundings. Everything in this film just doesn't make any sense at all

IMO the tsunami change was a genius idea and actually better than the animated series. There is something symbolic about Aang physically using the power of the ocean to scare off the fire nation. It also helps that he is a monk and he’s against killing.

Done watching Avatar The Last Airbender Netflix series, it's awesome because almost every characters is accurate, & Aang is called Aang not Oong, but the CGI & special effects still can't beat the M. Knight Shyamalan version, I noticed when the time Zuko rescue Aang at the Pohuai Stronghold when Aang trying to look at the enemy on the wall, the CGI look terrible only that thing they need to CaI that? What he can't get to the wall by himself? Seriously? So the M. Knight Shyamalan version the worst thing is characters is awful, the choreography didn't accurate either, but this soundtrack also sounds awesome but need to put original soundtrack at some scene, CGI & special effects is superb, the Netflix series every characters is accurate, choreography is accurate, the CGI & special effects is worse, & 1 thing I noticed the water bender just need to splash some water to the enemy & they defeated, how is that possible? Does water are tough like rock? Seriously? Btw this scene from M. Knight Shyamalan is awesome don't get me wrong

You telling me it's extremely hard for water benders to put out balls of fire in a city covered with ice and also ice cold temperatures. Putting out fire sources should be their priority because then fire benders would be able to do nothing. Not like those balls of fire can burn down any buildings causing more fires. Entire city is built of ice. And its really cold making the fire harder to actually stay lit.

White Sokka nothing else about jerk and funny in this movie because he is unfunny character. We, Indian Ozai doesn't have long hair and a beard in this movie it's nothing about comedy and funny moments. Just freaking gosh! These characters look nothing like original counterparts in cartoon series. This movie was released in 2nd July 2010 and director by M Night Shyamalan which Shyaman is terrible director who made Avatar: The Last Airbender into bad movie it ruined my childhood. In the scene Indian Azula played by Indian actress. The Last Airbender 2 just never happened about getting a sequel. However i'm not sure about this movie sequel we cancelled in 2011. Reason why I hate this movie in my opinion. In 2021 another getting live action Avatar: The Last Airbender Netflix series we all Asian American actors and actresses not Whites and Indians.
