I think I’m going to go to Pakistan straight after Diwali I got invited to a wedding there and I still have a bunch of tech equipment stored there that I need to pick up. I’ll probably end the year in Phillipines celebrating Christmas Asia style.

Phil, I think you should visit some pandals in Kolkata as well, these are the ones mostly in Newtown area which is Greater Kolkata. Pandals in South Kolkata are an artistic orchestration of Durga Pujo, which you can witness.

Go to nearby Meghalaya, Scotland of the East, & you have to go to the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland, in about a month. Christmas is also a big festival in the North-East.

Very happy to see you enjoying Durga puja. Visit Northeast India also. The Kaziranga National Park in Assam has been opened and it is fanous for one horned rhino and other wild animals. You can enjoy elephant festival also. Christmas is also celebrated in Northeast Indian states as well as in Goa. If possible, then spend your Xmas in Goa
