If Mims' had more starts, he would've probably went ahead of Alt. Mims' is simply a better athlete than Alt and has more upside with freakish abilities. It IS a great pick. If we wouldn't have drafted him, Pittsburgh would've ran to the podium to select him.

I disagree with Pete Prisco when he states that Mims' "has limitations". I don't know what limitations he's referring to because Mims' tape shows that he's solid, at minimum, in ALL aspects of playing OT. In all due respect, Mims' is a freak when it comes to build, ability and athleticism. He's also one of the strongest players in the entire draft and doesn't look overweight by carrying all 340 pounds very well. Mims' is a very rare athlete that only comes along occasionally. Great pick! Protecting Joe is job one. Drafting a DT/NT, WR, CB or OC in rounds 2 and 3 have got to be high on their list.
