Flag football is great for the Olympics it is not what the NFL will become. It is expanding football not changing it. From my experience of coaching youth flag football, you get 3 types of athletes, future full contact players whose parents want to delay full contact for awhile, and 2 other types of players, who would have never played full contact football anyways. First you get the kids, who they or their parents have decided that some other sport will be their main sport, and flag football is a break from the travel teams and many times more fun. The last type of player that you see, are kids who want to have fun, these kids may or may not start a varsity sport in High School but all that these kids are worried about is having fun right now. From my experience flag football benefits all 3 of these type of athletes.

Flag football is the future and I’m not even bothered by that. Certain positions are practically playing flag football now anyway (cough, QB, cough).

The nfl will eventually be flag football. Every year they make new rules for safety. Math says that if that keeps up, then we are heading in that direction anyhow

I understand what you are saying about the NFL encouraging flag football but, a lot of kids were already playing flag football before the NFL made it more popular because of injuries and concussions. People know what concussions do to people's brains. Flag football is now a professional sport for both men and women look up the American Flag Football League (AFFL). There are more youth flag football leagues and in the future, there are going to be a lot of adult flag football leagues so those who played youth flag football can continue to play. Flag football is becoming popular at the college level. In the future, the AFFL will have more players than the NFL unless the NFL switches to flag football.

Baker mayfields future career flag football QB because he not lasting as a starter but two years if that he will struggle without canales and go back to throwing hospital passes and not reading defenses, he sucks and so does hit attitude

The reality is that sane parents are capable of reading the literature, and will increasingly not allow their children to play the brain injury simulator that is football. The US talent pool will undoubtedly shrink. It's why they're now targeting these foreign development paths. Capture a smaller percentage of a much bigger pond.

Flag Football at the youth level is ridiculous and is siphoning off kids from baseball, basketball, and soccer and from the girls side through in lacrosse.
