Anna,this happened because of kannadigas staying in bengaluru, i will say my personal experience once i went for a shop near to me along with my telugu frnds,though i am comfortable wìth kannada,by seeing us while we are talking in telugu, he started speaking telugu with us,this is the main reason no other state people intrested inlearning kannada

Vinay Sampath Well, if i go to north india and also have observed , it is most ignorant and illiterate people who call south indians madrasi..also if my fellow educated friends do that , I answer back to them in a witty but non-hurtful way which makes them ponder about it.. anyhow..I also believe people should be free to learn any language. If forced upon them, humans generally tend to respond with an oppressive mindset ! I also have stayed in bangalore for 3 years and my friends were from various other neighbouring states.. its the company that matters..and if you find people around you rambling about second home and bullshit..ignore them coz theyr ignorant and stupid!

It was formed from three provinces because those parts of the those three provinces spoke Kannada. States were largely divided based on language. You should know this. What consisted of Madras, Bombay and Hyderabad were huge swaths of areas where various languages were spoken, not only Tamil, Marathi and Telugu.

Shivi Bhatia what exactly are you trying say..?! Are you against Delhi or for it..?! and no ***** its not "much more awesome" than delhi. I've been there once and i didn't find it that good. It wasn't bad either. But not even that good. There was some famous park, i dont remember its name. When we entered it, its condition was worse and so we had to LEAVE FROM THERE BEFORE WE COULD EVEN ENTER IT.

sheryl rao HI Sheryl, a day or so is way too less to come to a conclusion about a place, I am from Delhi but for the last 1.5 year i am in Bangalore now going back and can easily go a fair comparison between these places. Delhi outperforms Bangalore in all the facets. the only good thing i thought as per horses mouth was bangalore's weather but sadly this year around april-june it was very terrible and had to use AC in car and at home. You might like Bangalore- that's your view point and i respect the same but for me its Delhi hands down.

Such a diverse city, such warmth of people, such a beautiful weather what not to say about Bengaluru. It accepts all sorts of people coming from different parts of India and the world with open arms. Amazing city!. One suggestion to BeingIndian is that pls try to add on some kannada sentences to the video that was made rather than Tamil and other languages. Kannada is the official language of Bengaluru so that must be highly visible in the video. Cheers to every Bengalurian out there. NAMMA URU BENGALURU. ♥️♥️

Well said, South Indian, Bangalore has become such a city, where we Bangalorean, who was born and bought up here feel uncomfortable or unsafe because of implementation of other cultures, it is time to unite and show the importance of Kannada in Bengaluru to others, they should follow our culture being in Bengaluru, not make us to follow their culture, it is shame on us for accepting their culture and not hard on them.

This video has just given such a wrong view about Bangalore by interviewing a few people in trendy areas such as Kormangala or Brigade road. Someone who watches this video will feel that Bangalore is just a place with lot of pubs and only parties. Im disappointed, I think there's more to Bangalore than just that and you have failed to find the true "South India"in Bangalore
