it is possible that the nitrogen makeup of earth's atmosphere allows no more than a 4% DNA differential amongst all life on the planet. this means that the cells from a human to an ant to a banana share at least 96% of their DNA with each other. a organism with say a 50% differential would not even be recognizable to the naked eye

Its looks terrifying but honestly if you keep it at a distance and have precaution while checking it, what can it do you? Not even the most poisionois or toxic creatures in the world can harm you if you are prepared. That is the power of scientific observation. I was terrified of star fish and worms when i was a kid. But when you actually touch them, you understand fear is mostly a mental thing. Our brain and visual cues can only tell us so much what is actually dangerous or not. That is why thinking in a scientific method is a powerful thing. It actually tells you what is dangerous. I believe that is the way scientist had been able to study these animals.

When I was studying at the Alan Hancock Foundation at the University of Southern California I was in the laboratory of Dr. Olga Hartman, one of the world's experts on polychaete worms. She had an extensive collection of polychetes from all over the world. She had some large antarctic scale worms in her worm museum. These huge scale worms are not easily forgotten.

Bc it swims and Australia is a hot desert, in terms of nightmarish creatures if it walks it's probably Australian and if it swims almost definitely polar oceans
