Hi Lucy, what a wonderful video. I used to visit those unknown areas many years ago and apart from the high rise, it dosen't seem to have changed at all. It's great that you have highlighted these lovely ares because I'm sure that 99% of visitors don@t even know they exist. Benidorm certainly has so much to offer. Used to do that walk regularly,not too strenuous but it gets the heart pumping.I have not been up since before covid so it was a surprise to see the first resteraunt,it was just newly built flats.

Many many thanks for taking the time and trouble to film this , especially in the record heat that’s around . Been to Benidorm many times but never ventured “around the corner “ Definitely on our to do list when we come to Benidorm in January for 3 weeks! We were there in May when it was all that torrential rain ! Love all the vlogs Lucy ! X

I love this area of Benidorm, it’s such a Oasis of tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the busy more populated areas, simply put it’s a place you can chill out before jumping back into the fire.

¡Espectacular rincón Lucy! He ido un par de veces a Benidorm, no conocía esta coqueta cala. Benidorm tiene bueno hasta su nombre, que suena muy internacional. Hay pueblos de España con nombres como "Villarcayo de la Merindad de Castilla la Vieja". Difícil para un british 😊

Hi Lucy certainly something different i actually did a part of it last time i was out next time i might follow in your footsteps and complete it however i can well imagine all those who have spent the previous week drinking sweat would be rolling off them however if they had no swimwear they could still get a swim in !!! Bahia Blanca looks absolutely amazing. Hopefully the food is as good. I remember the days when you could drive allthe way round past TiXomo to the end and If i remember correctly there are sunbeds to hire . Down to the left of the Benidorm logo there are amazing sea caves that the locals love to explore, not sure how safe they are tho. A few years ago we stopped at the beach near the Villa Joyosa Casino, sat at the cafe and the foster son (18) nearly passed out when the table next to us were all bottomless, it was hilarious. Well done for making that walk, it would have killed me even 22 years ago lol. Thanks Lucy!

It's a good heart-pumping walk that - we went along most of that route via Segway to the Torre Punta Del Cavall o Seguro. A delightful vista of the first beach, we didn't see the 2nd beach but it looks beautiful, looks like a lifeguard was on duty there too. The Segway Tour was very good and like I said, we ended up at the Torre, it's god really wild views there, am sure Lucy will share soon. Fabulous photos and video vistas to be had, well worth going. We do that walk every time we visit plus the cross walk and I'm hoping to do it again next week however I've got really bad heel problem so not sure I'm gonna make it this time round 😢

Thankyou do much for this video, Lucy. I wanted to go to Merita's the next time we go in September, but wasn't sure if the route. Hadn't heard of Bahia Blanc's, but that looks amazing too, so will be visiting both! Can you go along all of the route on an electric scooter IE is there a pavement all the way to Merita's please? If it's not allowed on the road, then we'll have to get a taxi. Great video. Yes, please do one of the Bahia Blanca's menu. Many thanks. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks Lucy, we spend at least a couple of days doing these walks in January. The beach coves, the cross, look out tower. At the cross you can take the left hand path and scramble uphill onto the Serra Gelada. One our favourite memories, with a picnic, sat on a large rock (safely) at cliff top with fantastic views over the Mediterranean. Thanks for the reminder…..hopefully back in January 24.

We paddled around to the first beach on Saturday on a tour with Capitán Kayak. Beautiful spot. I can confirm that it’s definitely a nudist beach 😳

I remember stumbling across maritas bar when we were going to walk to the Cross,never made it to the cross that day,ended up having a few drinks and food 😊

We have been to that nudist beach a few times in Jan & Feb and eaten at Meritas Bar which is usually busy even I winter, may I just say we were the only ones on the beach and no nudist in site, as Lucy says this is a lovely part of Benidorm

Hiya Lucy, I try too avoid Beaches as much as I can, because of my autism, I try to stick to town centres, so this area of Benidorm wouldn't be for me, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumberland, England

We visted Benidorm briefly this month while we were staying down the coast in Venta Lanuza. I have to say, it wasn't for us at all, but it was cool to see it in person - I thought it was just a small town with a few big hotels...how wrong was I?! Have been enjoying your videos since anyway - take that as a compliment to your content haha

Lucy , bit of a random question .. but is benidorm very dog friendly? We are visiting in our campervan in October and wonder if bars , pubs etc allow dogs in ? Thanks

hi, dogs are welcome on most terraces. inside bars and restaurants is a bit more restricted. if there's food most prefer you to sit outside. there's no dog beach which is a shame, but a few parks scattered about and some specific dog parks with exercise areas xx
