Sad but familiar story as examples can be found in all parts of the World, but it is a shame to see this in Benidorm as the impression we have is of a very well run city that takes cleanliness and presenting a clean sharp image of itself to the world and this breaks that image.

Thanks for the video, when I went in back in 2018 it looked very abandoned and your film makes it look as if it has continued in its decline. I haven't used the long distance buses but when I stayed at the Rio Park I used the train/tram from the intermodal station. At the end of last year I was in Benidorm again at the Poseidon Playa and used the train/tram, it would be really interesting to see an update on how the opening of the line to Denia is going, at one point it only went to Calpe with a replacement bus service however in November it had got as far Teulada, has it got any further and is the full route still on course to be open at the end of the year? It really is a lovely ride out on the train and both Calpe and Denia are well worth seeing.

That really is dreadful, this is the first time I've seen anything in Benidorm in such a poor state, and it's not that old really. Everything is usually cosmopolitan and pristine. As you've shown one area of decline results in further deterioration with businesses relocating to enhanced locations. Hopefully they will get it sorted eventually. Another informative professional video by the way.

I stay in the hotel it's well worth €39 a night clean and good rooms 20 min walk to the strip or get a bus if you don't feel like walking I stayed in worse hotel at a lot more money

Wow It really is a mess, but it is still working as a bus station. Can I ask if you could do a video on the times of ALSA buses to and from the Alicante airport. When I visited in Sept they had a reduced timetable which meant no buses from Benidorm after 5pm and also none from airport after 5pm. This was unexpected as my flight arrived at 7pm - so yes extra expense!!! May help others.

I think the building is too out of place for Benidorm. Firstly for a bus station it’s too far from the town centre and seafront . Second it’s architecture is too modernist. As for the hotel people want to see palm trees, balconies and warmer colours a steel clad hotel like that doesn’t fit in a Mediterranean resort. It’s also very clinical looking more like something that you’d see in Moscow or Kiev not Benidorm. Looks more like an office block. And again it’s too far from where tourists want to visit. Tourists want to be close to the beach.
