I've done 1000s of automatic gate installations in the past 30 years. This looks great on animation but not real thing. Concrete mounting brackets are too small for the size of the gate and wheels must be super heavy duty and serviceable since they wear out overtime. This only work for small very light gates and not the all steel type. Have a good structure engineer design it so its safe and efficient.

You are correct, this is NOT even a "Cantilever Gate" it is a "slider" at best. Not even that really. I was in the Fence, Gate, and Welding business for many years, they are showing Lawrence Track on he BOTTOM of the gate, there is nothing in the Cartoon to show what holds up the Top. In the real world this will not work at all. There are so many better ways to do it, BB

I agree with you partially. Some items are better if they are thicker. It depends entirely on the gate weight and width. If a gate weighs less than 200 kgs and width is not more than 2-3 meters, then this shall work. But for a longer & heavier gate, we need heavier parts. I do not see the top adjustable guide plate for the section where the gate closes on your website. Is that a separate piece or is the same as the guide plate on the sliding side? I'm talking about the piece on minute 6 of the video. Thanks!
