I like the old BMTH. I like their new style. Bands change. Plus, this shift has a lot to do with Oli's mental and physical health. He can't scream forever; he'd have no vocal chords left. After his recovery, he just wanted to sing. And if that's what brings him happiness, a sense of belonging in this world, so be it.

Noobs commenting that BMTH is light... ok ... whether a song is heavy or light is based on two facets 1) the perspective of the lyrics 2) the instrumental composition. That is why vocalists are always the lead (normally) because they control 1/2 of the direction whether the band admits it or not... so trust me -- this song is about overcoming suicide, it is heavy. The above statement is a fact, and not up for debate. Disagreeing only solidifies your lack of musical acumen.

this blew my fucking mind O: I honestly had no idea Oli could actually "sing" as opposed to screaming and the light whisper singing HD does and the edited singing that goes with their new sound. But he's actually SINGING......just when I thought there was no way I could love this group any more than I already do....

It's something.. I really feel like crying with this song. I really love the song, the voice of Oli and the band. I love them. I Just love BMTH too much...

I saw them live yesterday :) Oli CAN sing live but he can still scream live as well - oh he really really can :DHe is awesome - he is an incredible artist, so is every single member of the band :) And I can't stand this whole "they got so light" whining - yeah they did, they changed, they matured - but they still enjoy performing chelsea smile for example and hell yeah they can still rock the shit out of every audience. I met them during a signing session...and i know that sounds a little bit ridiculous but they seemed to be truly happy and content :) So I ask you - do you want a unhappy depressed heavy band or a happy lighter band but as awesome as the heavy one :)I love this band - I loved their old style and i love their new, I love oli's singing voice and i love the screaming one. But most of all I love this amazing, energetic, HAPPY band I saw yesterday!

Pretty cool to see the evolution of this band. I remember listening to I think a demo of theirs maybe 8-10? Years ago and thinking they were just another one dimensional heavy band which was cool but...no way I thought they would turn into a band that could pair with a symphony and kill it.
