This is the song that really made me want to play. I loved that solo, and finally getting around to it. I was born in 1961 so this was playing the summer of '73 on the radio about a katrillion times a day. At 12 years old you listen to every note, nuance, word, study the album cover like your life depends on it. You also had to figure out the lyrics , no internet for cheating. Everyone would make up filler words for every song, and then Elton John with the British pronunciations, well it could be funny.
This is a cold 1st cut to get something in the books. I'll come back to fix the left hand, the solo, and really the hardest part is the synchopation in teh chorus.
