Magic of India | Cinematic Video

4 жыл бұрынIt was our first time in India, a place that had always been high on my list. Erik, Vunkki and I arrived just in time to experience the colourful celebrations of holi, where coloured starch powder is thrown, with water throwing and many other prank like activities that take place on every street. We had the experience of a lifetime getting involved in the celebrations and being covered in colours. Unfortunately due to the restrictions of the COVID19 virus covering the globe, we had to leave India early to go back to our homes. We planned to visit many more places North and South, however we could only stay for 10 days, and in that time we visited Delhi, Vrindivan, Mathura, Orcha, Agra, and Varanasi. However even though we didn't see all of India's amazing locations, it gives us a great reason to come back again!

Not 10 Hours, a blink is 4/3 second, excluding VFX, Editing for this period is 1-2 hour or so, Edi - You could call it the most managed editing you will ever see, he must've planned ahead everything before editing because it's so smooth,

WOW! I've been living in India for the last year and a half (I'm Canadian) and this video is an amazing depiction of this incredible country! You explained the magic this country holds that can be so hard to express to others so well! Great video.

To those saying “This is not even .01% of India”: It would be nearly impossible to capture the complete essence of every aspect of such a diverse, vaste and multicultural country, in a fluid/storytelling manner, and it would mostly just turn into a very long montage sequence... Really high on the technical difficulty of the editing and the camera work, but for me it lacks the narrative followup of each shot. A cluster of people, architecture, motions and themes. No time for the eye to rest. Sometimes less is more. But overall a decent portfolio piece.
