dude Dame Dash signed Ye as an artist and Jay wasn't with it. Yeezy was signed as a in-house beat maker. Jay wasn't feeling no music from Yeezy. Dame gave Yeezy that shot, hence why in the 'Through The Wire' vid you can see Dame giving him the Roc chain, yet Jay is nowhere to be seen in that vid. It was funded by Yeezy, no help from Jay, hence the low quality vid. Jay fell and supported cause Yeezy buzz started rising. Benny is like 50 Cent, everyone who follows the mixtape circuit know about their movement, nothing so special about Jay doing a management deal with them. Plus they signed with Shady Records, not Roc Nation. Roc Nation is for management only, not record production.

Northeast rap is absolutely the best. And the reason ia the people from Philly, Baltimore, NYC, Newark, Buffalo, Bridgeport, New Haven, Hartford, Springfield and Boston and everywhere in between is the real trenches. If you to go to French Montana Addicted to Money music video i was in that store and on the corner of Kensington and Chapel earlier today in New Haven CT. The group he with from New Haven all got raided in 2011. And they'll still locked up. They were called the Klean Up Krew. But they were all nine tre bloods and got swept up. That section of the city is called the Tre. Ironic. You should check out OT the Real too. Whiteboy outta Philly. Born in Worcester Mass. One of the best. He worked with Benny already.
