I was 16 years old when this song came out, I was so young and naïve and I thought I had all the time in the world. If there is somebody young reading this….please listen to me; if there’s someone that you love from a distance walk up to them and tell them how you feel because they might just feel the same about you, don’t ignore the little voice in your head because it’s the only one telling you the truth, you have to chase after your dreams because they don’t chase after you and try to make sure that your regrets will be for the things you have done not for the things you should have done.

Well this is a fine day. I've only just discovered this remix. Bizarre Love Triangle is greatest pop song of all-time and Richard X is one of my favourite music wizards. This is goosebumps brilliant.

Having played every version I have (probably about ten versions) I am inclined to agree with you. The others are all excellent of course, but this one is just fantastic. I have always liked Richard X too.

This is the version New Order played during the Unity Tour in 2022. Richard X is an amazing remixer, he also works frequently with the Pet Shop Boys, check out his remix for PSB's Fugitive.

I stumbled onto this remix today and involuntarily had an eargasm as this IMHO is the best I've heard next to the original. My brain is flooded with memories of the 80s and the nuances of the modern sonic additions woke me up to good feels.

Anyone ever wondered what it must have been like to make this song? To know you are producing something out of the ordinary. Something millions of people are going to regard as the best song in history. Did they know just how good it was from the early stages or did it just come together near the end? Maybe the band members even think they have made better records. It's possible because there are other sublime New Order songs. It does help though when there are guys like Richard X who can finish off your songs with remixes like this to keep them fresh and rocking.

yeah man totally agreed, what would cap it off is if bernard or richard could take the time to acknowledge their super fans, we dont need another beetles lead singer death, next time sign that autograph aye. I have nothing to lose and will happily stab the musicians i love if they refuse to acknowledge me.

I love this song, it is flat-out brilliant, but I reckon that moment you describe applies to Blue Monday more than Bizarre Love Triangle. It was so good, so brilliant, that bands like Kraftwerk tried and failed to crack the code to reproduce it. I love that they used to play it after gigs and it just completely captured everyone's imagination.
