Hi ben. I'm from India. I watch your videos whenever u post. My 1st video was 3 Features I Love About OriginOS 3 on Vivo X90 Pro Plus.... I hope u'll read comments since u do most of the time. Cuz of the vivo content & I'm a fan of origin OS. I switched from my IQOO Z5 to the Chinese variant of the Vivo X100pro on December before the official release. The phone is a solid 10 to me since I'm coming from a mid range category. So i spend almost 4 - 5 hours customizing the phone and found out some things. the most i like is the functional widgets and animated wallpapers with weather effects , time of the day etc.. The app colour icon which matches the wallpaper doesn't work with the global apps or apps installed from play store, F- droid etc. The Chinese apps have full support and control over the colour of the apps icons that match with selected colour scheme / wallpaper colour, The next thing the Icons are dual tone only. a colour mixed with white. there is no way u can have only single colour for the app in the colour selecting area (Mood Cube). Only when you change the Window style to Mono and set the icon colour to adaptive u get the expected icon color that is not satisfying much. Then the google support is limited. As many know android auto wont work. The nearby share / quick share also wont work. I still have a doubt that the google wearables will work. Please ben I'm requesting you to make a video on how it feels to use Origin OS outside China. From the setup and comparing with other android skins. Hongkong is beautiful!.

First foldable review I've watched and nicely done. When you're using the camera app and filming at belly button level, can you choose to have the app occupy the bottom half of the screen so you can look down on it to preview video with the phone folded to 90 degrees? If so, I would imagine one half of the screen can be used as a screen hood when shooting above your head!

Stunning video and photos. That vintage looks is gorgeous especially in Asia. I've seen your photos from Japan and Hong Kong and they look amazing. I see think the lights, small food places, red lanterns etc, in general more use of colour and quantness, take suits that filter.. It would also do well in Europe with the older parts with narrow streets and smallish shops. But the US and UK cities are not pretty at all so might not be as nice.

Looks so amazing just they really screwed up on only 3x zoom. Could have been fold of the year otherwise. Now we have to look toward the mix fold 4! Definitely looking forward to the full review on this one though!

Looks awesome. Fantastic hardware and software, and in my opinion the first foldable that dethrones last year´s Huawei's mate x5 as the best foldable at the moment, and its also considerably cheaper. Well done. Can´t wait to see what Huawei comes up with this year, especially if they do release the rumored triple foldable device.

Hey Ben, long-time fan here. So, I just decided to pick up the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro to replace my Pixel Fold as my daily driver. I like the Pixel Fold's form factor when its closed but to me it is too weighty and feels like a brick in my pants when I'm walking around with it. I was originally thinking of getting the Fold 5, but just am not a fan of the tall/narror profile when it is closed as well as the non-flagship cameras on it. I also looked at others like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 and the Mate X3 but settled on this bc I was looking for a foldable that can split apps vertically as well as horizontally like the Fold can as well as having good cameras. Throw wireless charging & this being IPX water resistant/dust resistant and I am sold. I picked up a 1TB black version via Giztop(I looked into Trinity Electronics but wasn't sure what their warranty policy is) which is CRAZY EXPENSIVE but once I get this and transfer everything over I'll sell my Pixel Fold to recoup some of the loss. The vintage filter

I have the Vivo X90 Pro+ and the only Vintage Filter in Portrait Mode is the Vintage Film one which comes with the annoying film strip on the edges. Do you crop these out after every photo or are you referring to a different Vintage Filter?

Does it work on Canada's networks? This looks awesome. In Canada we always have least amount of choices when it comes to buying a smartphone.

The case looks well designed! Theres a lot of thin and light cases that simply snaps on the body but ignore the hinge. Other cases that do look more like otter cases.

You think it's worth upgrading to the x fold 3 pro from the OnePlus open here in the US? I have a Samsung s24 ultra that I have my main sim in and use mainly because of the camera. My open I use as a complimentary device at the moment and use my mobile hotspot to give data to the OnePlus open.

I couldn't resist the battery size charging speed and the ip X8 water resistance on a top end Chinese foldable I ordered from trinity electronics as you mentioned them in other videos they clearly have got stuff in stock early, I'm looking forward to your review hopefully before it gets here I hope this wasn't too hasty there's hardly much more else that u boxing vids besides this. I have a mix fold 3 and the software situation to use my wear os watch had me unlock and install a custom paid rom and the earpiece volume levels are practically unusable since I got the phone it's the biggest hindrance as well as the lack of ip rating.

I really wish you or someone could do a full overview of Origin OS as a whole, since it is a really nice UI skin, just available to CN. (Could really help out for those who are looking to import Chinese variants into other regions too!)

Does the china rom still have issues with notifications? The aggressive power management and various work arounds made it a chore with the x fold 1.
