You do a wonderful mother!! As a teacher, teach her to help pack her lunches. Have choices like grapes or oranges, apple juice or Capri Sun , jello or cookies etc. I bet you that when she has a "vested interest" in what she eats you will see 100% eaten lunch. I want to pull my hair out at the amount of food kids throw away. One boy threw away Pop tarts everyday. I finally asked him why. He said my mom insists I like them but I hate them. A quick note solved that problem. Also hats off to you mom, that she brings back home what she doesn't eat. Otherwise a parent thinks their child ate everything when they just throw it away. No one has money for that!!😬
